Mercy, but also justice

For the sake of the gospel, we must certainly give people a chance to repent. But if the other party insists on his own way and always fights on the side of the devil. Then, we must strike the bad guys, expose the facts, and awaken others.

 

Jesus said: "Unless you repent, the day of judgment will be more painful than Sodom." (Matthew 11:24)

Mercy must also be just, patience must have limits, and tolerance is different.

When a person "has been rebuked many times but still stiffens his neck", the Bible says that he "will be destroyed in an instant, without remedy" (Proverbs 29:1).

Titus 3:10: "........After warning him once or twice, reject him.

 

The gospel gives people a chance, but repentance is their responsibility; if they refuse to repent, the message of the gospel becomes a message of judgment.

 

The gospel is not indulgence, but also contains Gods holy wrath. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by unrighteousness suppress the truth. (Romans 1:18)
