Trump Supporters Are Being Too Optimistic

Blind Optimism
这次川普胜利了，这也并不是信仰的回归，而是政治保守派的回归。
Trump won, but this is not a return to Christian faith. It is only a return to political conservatism.
如果没有信仰的回归，这种川普现象只是回光返照。
If there is no return to faith, the Trump movement will not last.
川普这代人，是最后一代从基督信仰教育下长大的人。
Trump’s generation is the last one that grew up with Christian values.
不管信不信基督，至少小时候在学校里受到基督教道德的残存影响。
Even if they don’t believe, they still learned some Christian morals in school.
但是，再下一代就完全是左派教育的产品了。
But the next generation is fully shaped by leftist education.
如果基督徒不利用目前这来之不易的时光，来好好放胆宣扬我们的信仰，
If Christians do not use this short time to boldly share our faith,
我们将永无翻身之日。
we may never have another chance.
这非常像旧约里的约西亚王时代，空有“王的觉醒”，没有百姓信仰回归，终是不能持续的。
This is like the time of King Josiah in the Bible: the king woke up, but the people did not return to God. So it could not last.
Who Supports Trump?
教会的人很少，世俗上的因为常识而支持他的更多。
Few people in church support Trump. More people in the world support him because of common sense.
所以共和党和川普，甚至不得不联合异教，来增加支持的力量。
So Trump and the Republican Party even work with non-Christians to get more support.
历史总在重复，
History repeats itself.
为了打败希特勒，联合比希更邪恶的苏联；
To defeat Hitler, the Allies worked with the evil Soviet Union.
为了打败新教，罗马天主教的法王，竟联合穆斯林帝国。
To fight Protestants, a Catholic king joined with the Muslim empire.
历史告诉我们，这样做的结果并不会很好，
History tells us that these choices do not end well.
因为信仰的问题不解决，所谓的正义，只不过是人的技巧。
If we don’t fix the faith problem, human “justice” is just human tricks.
The American Church Is Sad
没有一个教会在乎保守主义价值观的回归，
No church seems to care about the return of conservative values.
大家忙着挂彩虹旗，开亲子营，或者教导大家“仰望天上的国”，
They are busy with rainbow flags, family events, or saying “just look to heaven.”
教会没有力量在民众中掀起信仰的回归，
The church has no power to bring people back to faith.
没有用信仰去归正凯撒的心。
It does not use faith to correct the heart of government.
大部分教会在骂川普，很多神学家在说川普是“邪教”。
Most churches attack Trump. Many theologians say Trump is a cult.
也有很多教会仍在教导错误的神学；
Many churches still teach wrong theology.
余下的不多的教会，有正统的神学，
A few churches have good theology,
可惜也没有正确的政治观和历史观。
but they have no right view of politics or history.
指责川普和共和党很容易，
It is easy to blame Trump and the Republicans.
放下姿态，在政治理念上支持他们，每个教会都很难做到，
But it is hard for churches to support them with humility.
这就是今天全球教会的常态。
This is normal for churches today.
Return to Faith
作为教会，少拆台，多干事，
As the Church, we should stop fighting and start working.
我们要鼓励我们的教会牧者强大起来，
We must encourage our pastors to be strong,
为基督信仰的回归，尽心尽力。
and work hard for the return of Christian faith.
努力支持勇敢的牧者，
Let’s support brave pastors,
支持能为我们发声的政治家，
support leaders who speak for us,
支持那些能为基督教推广的议员和州长，
and support Christian lawmakers and governors.
每个人都要行动起来，
Everyone should take action,
让争战的人不孤单。
so those in the battle are not alone.
