他们利用割礼杀害整个城的人。
They used circumcision as a pretext to kill all the men of the city.
雅各说:“我要使他们分居在雅各家里,散住在以色列。”
Jacob said, “I will scatter them in Israel.”
后来果然应验:西缅支派后来几乎消失,利未支派没有土地产业。
And so it was fulfilled: the tribe of Simeon later nearly disappeared, and the tribe of Levi received no land inheritance.
但是,神后来把利未支派分别出来作祭司。
However, God later set apart the tribe of Levi to be priests.
这说明:神能够把人的失败转变成他荣耀的工具。
This shows that God can transform human failure into an instrument for His glory.
五、犹大(8-12节)。
V. Judah (verses 8–12).
这是整章最重要的一段。
This is the most important section of the chapter.
第一:“犹大,你弟兄们必赞美你。”
First: “Judah, your brothers shall praise you.”“犹大”( Judah )这个名字本身就是“赞美”的意思。
The name “Judah” itself means “praise.”
第二:“你手必掐住仇敌的颈项。”
Second: “Your hand will be on the neck of your enemies.”
代表君王得胜。
It represents the victory of a king.
第三:“你父亲的儿子们必向你下拜。”
Third:“Your father’s sons will bow down to you.”
虽然流便是长子,神却把君王权柄交给犹大。
Although Reuben was the firstborn, God gave the royal authority to Judah.
第四:“犹大是个小狮子。”
Fourth: “Judah is a lion’s cub.”
狮子象征君王、能力和威严。
The lion symbolizes kingship, power, and majesty.
后来启示录称:“犹大支派中的狮子”,就是耶稣基督。
