All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for showing people what is wrong in their lives, for correcting faults, and for teaching how to live right. Using the Scriptures, those who serve God will be prepared and will have everything they need to do every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16–17, NCV)
The Bible not only comforts us.
It also rebukes us.
The Bible not only encourages us.
It also continually corrects us.
Therefore, we need Scripture throughout our whole lives.
V. Reformation Is a Lifelong Process
No Christian has already become perfect.
No church is completely free from error.
Therefore, we must continue learning.
Continue studying Scripture.
Continue examining ourselves.
Continue reforming our faith.
Do what God's teaching says; when you only listen and do nothing, you are fooling yourselves. Those who hear God's teaching and do nothing are like people who look at themselves in a mirror. They see their faces and then go away and quickly forget what they looked like. But the truly happy people are those who carefully study God's perfect law that makes people free, and they continue to study it. They do not forget what they heard, but they obey what God's teaching says. (James 1:22–25, NCV)
The Bible is like a mirror.

VI. Loving One Another Includes Gentle Correction

True love builds one another up with the truth.
True love gently helps brothers and sisters return to Scripture.
Brothers and sisters, if someone in your group does something wrong, you who are spiritual should go to that person and gently help make him right again. But be careful, because you might be tempted to sin too. (Galatians 6:1, NCV)
