Fifth Principle: A Muslim or Other Non-Christian Candidate Should Not Be Rejected Automatically
基督教与伊斯兰教在神、基督、救恩和圣经真理上有根本冲突。
Christianity and Islam have fundamental disagreements about God, Christ, salvation, and biblical truth.
因此，基督徒不能假装这些宗教差别不重要。
Therefore, Christians must not pretend that these religious differences do not matter.
但是，在民事选举中，问题不只是：“他信什么宗教？”
But in a civil election, the question is not only, “What religion does he follow?”
还要问：“他会怎样治理？”
We must also ask, “How will he govern?”
他是否尊重所有人的宗教自由？
Will he respect religious freedom for everyone?
他是否保护基督徒公开敬拜、传福音和教育儿女的权利？
Will he protect the right of Christians to worship publicly, preach the gospel, and educate their children?
他是否想把伊斯兰教法或其他宗教规范强加给全社会？
Does he want to impose Islamic law or another religious code on the whole society?
他是否尊重法律、宪政秩序和权力限制？
Does he respect law, constitutional order, and limits on political power?
如果一位穆斯林候选人尊重宗教自由、公义和法律，而另一位自称基督徒的候选人腐败、残暴并反对基本自由，基督徒不能只凭标签作决定。
If a Muslim candidate respects religious freedom, justice, and law, while a self-identified Christian candidate is corrupt, cruel, and opposed to basic freedom, Christians should not decide by labels alone.

Explanation
一个候选人即使口头支持基督教，也不能因此得到犯罪的特权。
Even if a candidate speaks in support of Christianity, he does not receive permission to act wickedly.
基督徒不能因为他帮助自己的宗教群体，就为他的谎言、暴力、腐败或不公义辩护。
Christians must not excuse his lies, violence, corruption, or injustice merely because he helps their religious group.
这样做不是保护基督教，而是在羞辱基督的名。
Doing this does not protect Christianity; it dishonors the name of Christ.
第七原则：要区分“教会的使命”和“政府的职责”
Seventh Principle: Distinguish the Church’s Mission from the Government’s Duty
教会的使命是传扬福音、施行圣礼、牧养信徒。
The church’s mission is to preach the gospel, administer the sacraments, and shepherd believers.
政府的职责是维护公共秩序和民事公义。
The government’s duty is to preserve public order and civil justice.
所以，我们不应要求一个政治候选人代替牧师和教会。
