14) / Reformed Theology Studies (Archive 14)
2026-03-01Reformed theology teaches that Christians may vote and take part in public life, but the Bible—not political parties, ideologies, or personal interests—must be the highest authority. When no candidate is perfect, Christians are not looking for a savior, because only Christ is the Savior. Instead, they prayerfully use wisdom and conscience to choose what is more consistent with biblical justice, truth, and love for neighbor.
At the same time, Christians must never make politics an idol or reduce the gospel to a political movement. The church's central mission is always to worship God, preach the gospel, and make disciples, while individual believers faithfully serve as salt and light in every area of life.
> God's sovereignty never removes human responsibility. God ordains not only the end, but also the faithful means by which He accomplishes His purposes.
