Lesson 38: Submission to Authority and “Obey God Rather Than Men”
这是基督徒非常重要的一个平衡。
罗马书 13:1–2
> 「在上有权柄的，人人当顺服他，因为没有权柄不是出于神的。凡掌权的都是神所命的。所以抗拒掌权的，就是抗拒神的命；抗拒的必自取刑罚。」
“All of you must yield to the government rulers. No one rules unless God has given him the power to rule.”
改革宗传统并不把无政府主义当作基督徒的理想。
The Reformed tradition does not treat anarchy as a Christian ideal.
政府、父母、教师、雇主以及教会治理，都具有不同范围和性质的权柄。
Government, parents, teachers, employers, and church government all have different kinds and spheres of authority.
这些权柄都不是绝对的。
None of these authorities is absolute.
只有神拥有绝对权柄。
Only God has absolute authority.
但以理书 6:10
> 「但以理知道这禁令盖了玉玺，就到自己家里（他楼上的窗户开向耶路撒冷），一日三次，双膝跪在他神面前，祷告感谢，与素常一样。」
这里非常值得家庭学习。
但以理不是一个喜欢制造冲突的人。
Daniel was not a man who enjoyed creating conflict.
他忠心服事政府。
He faithfully served the government.
但是政府一旦要求他违背神，他就拒绝服从。
But when the government required him to disobey God, he refused.
而且：
他没有暴躁。
He was not violent.
没有辱骂。
He did not insult others.
没有妥协。
He did not compromise.
他只是继续“与素常一样”敬拜神。
He simply continued worshiping God “as he had done before.”
但以理书 3:16–18
> 「沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌对王说：『尼布甲尼撒啊，这件事我们不必回答你；即便如此，我们所事奉的神能将我们从烈火的窑中救出来。王啊，他也必救我们脱离你的手；即或不然，王啊，你当知道我们决不事奉你的神，也不敬拜你所立的金像。』」
这是基督徒面对不义权柄非常重要的模式：
尊重，却不妥协。
Respectful, but uncompromising.
柔和，却不软弱。
Gentle, but not weak.
顺服权柄，却不把权柄偶像化。
Submitting to authority, but never making authority an idol.
使徒行传 5:29
> 「彼得和众使徒回答说：『顺从神，不顺从人，是应当的。』」
“Peter and the other apostles answered, ‘We must obey God, not human authority!’”
这是整个原则的最高总结：
正常情况下——顺服合法权柄。
Under normal circumstances—submit to lawful authority.
当人的命令直接要求我们犯罪——顺从神。
When human commands directly require us to sin—obey God.
一个重要提醒
“顺从神，不顺从人”不能成为我们不喜欢某项规定就随意反抗的借口。
“Obey God rather than men” cannot become an excuse to resist every rule we dislike.
关键问题不是：“我喜不喜欢？”
The key question is not, “Do I like this?”
而是：“这个命令是否要求我违背神明确的话语？”
The question is, “Does this command require me to disobey God’s clear Word?”
